The Girls’ Top 20 Lists have been updated too!

The Girls’ Lists are updated with 2014 times and many more times from other years (especially the 1990’s). Click on the Girls Top 20 Performances Section to check them out!

Summary of the 2014 times that made the lists:

On the girls side, a pair of freshmen burst onto the scene and made their presence on the lists well known already! They also teamed up with some very decorated upperclassmen (who were already well represented on the lists) to post some relay times that were the 2nd best ever in program history and literally fractions of a second away from being the fastest ever! The returning girls did an awesome job, too, as many continued to move up on the lists. With the awesome talent we have returning and the addition of some freshmen and other new comers many of the times on the lists, especially those relay records, (which were all set by teams that made the state podium) could be in serious jeopardy in 2015.

The Boy’s top 20 lists have been updated! Check them out!

The Boy’s top 20 lists have been updated!

They now include 2014 times and many more years (especially the 1990s) Check them out in the Boys’ Top 20 Performances section on this website!

Summary of the 2014 entries on the Top 20 Lists:

For the boys, the 2014 Team had to be one of the best if not the best team (what a great discussion to have about hypothetical team match ups) in program history!

They posted 6 top times (school records) and many of their times crushed the old records! Just one example (there are many) was the 4X400 Meter Relay Team who broke the school record by almost 3 seconds!

All the boys who set school records in 2013 bettered them in 2014. Besides the boys whose performances, this season, put them in top spot on this list, there were many instances where their teammates recorded the 2nd best performance ever in that same event as well!

This year’s boys had so many top 20 performances they are almost too many to count! The boys’ assault on the top 20 lists looks like it is not going to be slowing down anytime soon!

Many school record holders, state podium performers and frequent top 20 list performers will return for the 2015 track and field campaign! Throw in some very talented returning underclassmen, possible incoming freshmen and new members, all which when it is all said and done could be just as good or even better than our graduated seniors, and the 2015 team and many years beyond that, will be all over our top 20 lists!
